The computer giant Microsoft Corporation has declared the launch of it much awaited Internet Explorer 8, which was under trial for past one year. The Microsoft Corp will be launching this new version of the Mrket-domination Web-browser IE8. Any person using genuine Microsoft Windows can download this verison from the Microsoft’s website after 9 am (Pacific timing), on thursday.

This IE8 will be available free of cost to the Genuine users.

The new Internet Explorer can be used with windows Vista and some previous versions of Windows XP, as these are still prefered over Vista by many users.

The application replaces IE7, which has a lock on the browser market. According to a recent survey by IT consultants Janco Associates Inc, Internet explorer has a 72.2 percent market share, ahead of the Mozilla Foundation’s Firefox browser with 17.2 percent. Google Inc’s new Chrome browser has only 2.8 percent of the market, while Apple Inc’s Safari has less than 1 percent.

The IE8 is loaded with many new and striking features. Some of them are:

1.Right-clicking on addresses or other Web features to go straight to a map         or put into a blog or other website, which Microsoft calls an “accelerator”

2.Putting keaywords in the add bar to recollect the sites they visited earlier

3.Enhanced security system.

Earlier, Windows Corp announced that the upcoming Windows 7 (expected by the end of this year) will be have features to turn off the Internet Explorer. This will enhance the efficiency of other Browsers.

Lets wait and see whether the new Internet Explorer 8 is able to ftch the user appreciation or not?
