The our own, much awaited, TATA’s Nano, has brought a smile on almost every Indian citizens’ face, as it is affordable by a wider section of the society. The wide appeal though could make this dream project a huge success but the entire ‘movie’ is yet to be seen.
Although, the car has many features embedded inside along with its elegant look, yet this nano (extremely small) concept is powerful enough to cause a lot more injury to us than good.
1) What kills this car in long run is its cost. Affordable to almost every section of the society and thus would indulge people to at least have a single personal vehicle, which is so fuel efficient. This will decrease the use of public transport and thus, worsening the traffic situation in Metro cities (already having a poor traffic flow).
2) The most important thing to be taken under consideration is the Common Wealth Games are at the corner of the year and introducing such a ‘Traffic Imp’ would surely increase the challenges for the traffic department.
3) An important thing which the car buyers should take care of is that the car’s spare parts are available only at TATA dealership.
4) The car has a weaker body (comparatively with other four wheelers) and thus the safety question still remains unattended.
5) The car can easily swift through the traffic. But, too many swift-footed vehicles create a problem for the city traffic.
Thus, will also promote the rash-driving and road accidents.
